Despite his taste in sunglasses, SHSMD David Neil was honoured to elevate Senior Crew Chief William Laughlin to the hallowed echelon of SHS Immortality on Saturday 8th July, 2017.
The ceremony took place at the Yiamas Greek Restaurant in St Peters at precisely 21:00pm.
William has been a staunch Showie since 2012. During that time he has represented Show Support superlatively, never once having received any form of complaint or even mildly disparaging feedback. Not even a slightly negative tone of voice has ever been used when describing William. By anyone. Ever.
On the contrary, William has been spoken of by our clients in purely dulcet tones, a highly sought after Crew Member, often requested for the highest profile events.
Senior Crew Chief Laughlin has always been correctly attired, has never blown out a gig, has never been late and has never once failed to do Show Support proud.
In short he has been the perfect Crew Member and will be sorely missed by SHS Clients, Ops and Crew alike.
Show Support salutes William for his many years of faithful and exemplary service to the SHS Truss Insignia.
We wish all the best to his young family as they return to their homeland in the United Kingdom.
Unless, of course, they decide to come back to Australia in which case SHS will welcome William back into the fold with open arms like the proverbial son.
Safe travels William Laughlin, SHS Immortal.
